Global Leaders on Valuable Efficacy - GLOVE
Mission Statement:
The purpose of the program is to build a positive relationship between TAMU students and local communities abroad. Designed to empower and enhance TAMU students’ education and practical experience while positively impacting the overall health of a community, our focus is to build leaders of health that seek solutions to world health issues. Rooting into a local community in another country, the program will help local medical leaders raise awareness of their unmet needs. We seek to alleviate, empower and support medical teams abroad. Developing global medical leaders sparks a generation of medical professionals with a global mindset with experience to act locally. Therefore, the take away message about GLOVE: We want to create lasting change.
